1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CleanOutput ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

CleanOutput provides a free, browser-based tool for detecting AI writing signatures and generating a "Clean Output Score." The Service is provided "as is" for informational and editorial assistance purposes only.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use CleanOutput only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
  • Engage in any deceptive or fraudulent conduct
  • Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Use automated systems to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service at scale

4. No academic misconduct

CleanOutput may not be used to facilitate academic dishonesty, including using AI-generated content in academic submissions where prohibited by your institution. CleanOutput accepts no liability for consequences arising from misuse of the tool in academic contexts.

5. Intellectual property

The CleanOutput name, logo, interface design, and codebase are owned by CleanOutput. The text you analyze remains your property. By using the Service, you grant us no rights to your content — since we never receive it, we cannot claim any.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. HUMANFLOW MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PRODUCE ACCURATE RESULTS.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HUMANFLOW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

8. Accuracy of results

CleanOutput's Clean Output Score and analysis outputs are probabilistic and heuristic in nature. They are not legal determinations, academic certifications, or guarantees of any kind. The tool may produce false positives and false negatives. Do not rely on CleanOutput results for high-stakes decisions.

9. Third-party links and services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. CleanOutput is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties.

10. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
